Tony celebrates 40 years (+1)

In 1981, Tony took ownership of what then was Tony Armstrong’s Springwood Suzuki. Primarily selling new and used Suzuki’s, a couple of brands came and went, until in 2008, the name Motorcycles R Us was activated (previously obtained during the rise of Toys R Us) to better represent the multi-franchise model that motorcycle stores needed to survive.

In 2021, we’d all rather not remember, COVID lockdowns and restricted trading was in-place. This meant the planned celebrations and party could not proceed due to mass gathering restrictions.

Now in 2022, we are restriction-free so the celebrations can take place…a year later. Happy 41 years!!???

Come down to 112 Kingston Road Underwood on 27 August 2022 for an relaxing and enjoyable day of celebrating and chatting, where our focus isn’t about selling you anything but instead raising a glass (so to speak) to over 40 years of ownership and successful trading against the odds at times and in ever increasing complexities of the industry we know so well.
