Aprilia commenced building bicycles in Noale, Italy during the second World War. From the late 60’s, the founder’s son took over and commenced building small capacity motorcycles, then motocross, then scooters.
They invented the all-plastic scooter, are famous for their 2 stroke RS125 and RS250’s, and have a strong history of racing which transposes from the racetrack to the production line thanks to many wins on the track.
Today, Aprilia are owned by the Piaggio Group, with a strong foundation in engineering technology and performance. Successful in racing, Aprilia is a brand to own when culture and focus on racing success is transformed to what you ride and park at home.
