CURRENT POSITIONS
Qualified DUCATI motorcycle technician
Job Details: A family-owned business for over 43 years Motorcycles R Us which incorporates the Suzuki, KTM, GASGAS, WP and Ducati brands is looking for a Trade Qualified Motorcycle Technician with focus being more involved with the Ducati brand.
Our air conditioned comfortable and equipped workshop is a great environment to be in every day. We are a family run, independent business with sought after brands here in our store
Work Type: Full Time (42.5 hours per week + one Saturday a month.)
Responsibilities:
- To carry out assembly, servicing, repairs, overhauls, reconditioning and modifications according to specification.
- Use logic and reasoning to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and implement a solution.
- Utilise test equipment to aid in the diagnoses or repair of the vehicle or to monitor performance.
- Maintain accurate records of all labour, parts, lubricants or consumables used in the diagnoses or repair of the vehicle.
- Carry out vehicle detailing as required.
- Assist in the collection, delivery, loading, unloading of goods as required.
- Assist in the pushing of vehicles, stored in service area, in and out each day.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, tidy and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
To be successful you will need to be:
- A Qualified Motorcycle Technician with Ducati Training
- Highly motivated with a passion for Motorcycles
- Hold a current motorcycle license
- Strong work ethic with the expectation to get involved in brand training.
- Achieve set training goals such as online training courses and knowledge improvement.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Punctual, reliable, honest and able to take direction.
- Able to work to deadlines with good prioritization and time management skills
- Able to work in a team environment.

Workshop general hand /MOTORCYCLE DETAILER
Do you want a career in our motorcycle workshop! This position within our Service Team is a position to demonstrate your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. This opportunity would suit someone with a passion for motorcycles.
A Workshop General Hand with MRU is a varied role. Tasked with primarily motorcycle detailing of new and used stock plus undertaking workshop customer motorcycle cleaning. The right individual also works around the workshop and technicians, with janitorial work, cleaning the area and commencing entry-mechanical tasks such as motorcycle assembly under supervision, providing you a taste of working on bikes from the beginning of their life out of the crate!
Responsibilities
- New motorcycle final detailing
- Used motorcycle sale & preparation detailing
- Entry-level motorcycle assembly
- Showroom & workshop janitorial tasks
- Generalised housekeeping tasks as directed
- Assisting the technicians under instruction
Requirements
- Ability to work under technicians and their requirements under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Multiskilling between various tasks as demand requires
- An interest in motorcycling and maintenance
- Ability to handle a heavy motorcycle safely by hand
- An Open or RE motorcycle license is desirable, but not essential
- Be punctual and hard working and a great communicator

CASUAL CLEANER
Motorcycles R Us have a rare opportunity to join our team in a casual cleaner role throughout the dealership, role could suit someone who wants flexibility of days to do around 18 hours per week.
Role typically has been Monday, Wednesday & Fridays from 8am – 2.30pm.
Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning routine
- Amenities cleaning
- Replenishing consumables and supplies
- Cleaning, Mopping, dusting and vacuuming
- Workshop Sweeping and tidy up
- Emptying of rubbish bins
- Operating floor scrubbers and buffers

Motorcycle Spare PARTS & ACCESSORIES INTERPRETER
Motorcycles R Us would like to add to our already experienced team, an exceptional candidate for counter, phone and online sales based in our spares and accessories showroom in Underwood. Motorcycles R Us have been servicing the motorcycle industry for over 40 years and continue to be family owned and operated.
A desirable candidate has a motorcycling background either through work experience or passion. A highly varied role requires an energetic, self-managed person who is proficient in task management and customer service with urgency and friendliness under pressure.
This role would suit either an experienced interpreter or a junior looking to make a start.
Responsibilities
- To provide timely, accurate, professional customer service to customers.
- Communicate with customers and identify their specific needs.
- Identify make & model of vehicles and source required parts and accessories by checking databases and industry catalogues.
- Ordering and receiving stock from external suppliers.
- Preparing estimates and processing sales transactions.
- Packing for delivery ordered stock to customers.
- Assisting with regular stock checking, parts pricing and tagging of inventory
- Assist in the implementation of merchandising or promotional plans as needed.
- Maintain product knowledge on items in stock and available from our suppliers.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, tidy and safe work environment.
